  • 04/2018: Dr. Wang received 2018 Alumni Association Distinguished Research Award in Science, Engineering and Mathematics. This award was given to UoM faculty member who has made outstanding research contribution in Science, Engineering and Mathematics area.
  • 11/2017: We welcome Shweta Bhardwaj joining our group. Shweta obtained her Ph.D.in chemistry from International Institute of Information Technology, India. Her Ph.D work was on gold nanoclusters and nanoparticles their enhanced catalytic and Raman scattering. She will continue her research in this area focusing on computational studies.
  • 10/2017: Chang Yu was named one of semifinalist in Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology in 2017. He was one of 491 students nationwide being recognized out of more than 1860 projects submitted.Congratulations!

  • 05/2014, Elise's first paper on calculation of optical properties of Au coated magnetic core-shell nanoparticle has been accepted for publication in J. Phys. Chem. B. This is a new area of research that we are getting into.
